Biography
Emelda Amoah is the Head of Partnership and Project Development at the 2es Center for Research and Policy. Her responsibilities include developing new projects and building new partnerships. Emelda has a background in social work from the University of Ghana and holds a Master of Science degree in sustainability science from the United Nations University. Her experiences span across community development, youth engagement, teaching, and research.
Having worked with both local and international organizations, Emelda has gained valuable skills working with people from diverse backgrounds, project implementation, rural community development, and facilitating training. Specifically, she has had the privilege of working in cocoa farming communities, where she was responsible for overseeing the development needs of communities and facilitating the training of women’s livelihood and savings groups. In the area of teaching, she has been involved in some literacy activities meant to help young people communicate in English. In the area of research, she has also been engaged in collecting, analyzing data, and report writing.
Emelda has a passion for travel and reading. Her diverse experiences and skills make her an asset to the 2es Center for Research and Policy, where she is dedicated to making a difference through sustainable and impactful projects.
